Bring your used shoes to Valley View. We are collecting all sizes and types of shoes for the months of October and November! Just bring in your shoes to the front of the school in the morning, or bring them to Mrs. Graps room A9 during homeroom or after school.

Congratulations to our top first-quarter A.R. students, all tests 100%: *Tied for fourth place with 62 points – Maximus Doepking and Neo Neri, Third place 73 points - Nuria Gordon, Second place 75 points – Nicolas Rojas, and Valley View's first quarter Leader of Accelerated Reader, all tests 100% for 92 points, congratulations to Shane Alliston!

Attention to all 3 on 3 lunchtime basketball players. We had another round of great games completed last week. In our 8th grade tournament, the SuperSonics defeated the Warriors, the Rockets beat the Bobcats, the Pistons over the Celtics, and the Hawks got past the Thunder.  In our 6th and 7th grade tournament, we have our championship game set after the Nuggets beat the Lakers and the 76ers defeated the Nets. Games have been rescheduled today because of Halloween. 8th grade will resume on November 7th and the 6th and 7th grade will have their championship on Friday the 16th in the gym.  Good luck Vikings!

 

 

This Friday is Vans, Converse, etc. Day. Make sure to wear Vans, Converse, Nike, or Adidas to show your school spirit and earn spirit points for your homeroom.

 

Builders Club would like to thank everyone who participated in the Trick-or-treat for UNICEF program! If you filled up a little orange Trick-orTreat for UNICEF box, please bring it to Mrs.Yant’s classroom C-24 ASAP! And remember, BE the change you want to see in the world!

This afternoon for PM homeroom we will be dismissing by buildings by PA announcements - the first order of business at the assembly will be an all school picture - staff members dressed as dalmatians please come on stage as soon as you arrive at the amphitheater.
